GENIA FOR THE REAL INDEPENDENTS

North Sydney Council’s longest serving Mayor, Genia McCaffery, has entered the building! It certainly comes as no surprise that she is backing The Real Independents.

Genia was the head honcho for a whopping SEVENTEEN years, not just in North Sydney but also the President of both the Local Government Association of NSW and the Local Government Association of Australia!

We thank Genia for are dreaming up the Coal Loader and delivering stage one of the build, tirelessly listening to and advocating for the community, and the architecturally-award-winning 25m indoor pool at NSOP (shamefully, this has been ripped out).

So what it is that we’re trying to say… Genia knows what’s up. In a serious way.

It’s time to put North Sydney Council back into community hands.
